BANGKOK –  World Bank Country Director Annette Dixon (left) signed the memorandum of understanding for a knowledge-sharing partnership with Khun Somchit Sataphumin, (center), Acting Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, at the NACC headquarters. 

Among other things, the MOU lays a broad framework of mutual collaboration to help the NACC build institutional capacity; organize national and international conferences on anti-corruption policy and practices; and conduct periodic review as well as research that will help the commission enhance its effectiveness as Thailand’s anti-corruption watchdog.   Prof. Pakdee Pothisiri, an NACC Commissioner (not in picture), chaired the signing ceremony.
