BANGKOK, August 6, 2009 – A  The World Bank today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Office of Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) for knowledge sharing and collaboration on a range of important initiatives, designed to support Thailand's efforts to reform the public sector.

The MOU signing took place at the OPDC office, with Secretary-General, Dr. Thosaporn Sirisumphand (2nd right), representing the Commission, while Thailand Country Director, Annette Dixon (2nd left), representing the World Bank. Mathew A. Verghis (left), the World Bank Lead Economist for Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, and Thailand, and Khun Avoot Wannvong (right), Deputy General-Secretary of the OPDC, were also present.
