BANGKOK, July 23, 2009 -- Annette Dixon (second from right), and Jean-Pierre Verbiest (third from right), the Thailand Country Directors of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, respectively, were invited to speak at the conference on "Thailand's Investment Environment: Looking Forward" at the United Nations Convention Center. Opened by Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and closed by Deputy Prime Minister Kobsak Sabhavasu (above, third from left), this annual conference aimed to promote a public-private sector dialogue on improving the investment climate in Thailand.
